Job Summary
A media entertainment company has an open position for a Remote Weekend Social Editor.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Overseeing and executing publishing for Complex’s weekend coverage on social
- Tracking and sharing social and platform best practices with internal teams, providing best-in-class
- Working closely with weekend editorial and video teams, and collaborating cross-functionally
Required Skills:
- 1-3 years of social media and editorial experience with a publisher or brand
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Premiere Pro
- A deep understanding of the Complex content, voice, and tone
- Positive, intuitive, proactive, and collaborative team player
- Robust knowledge of current events + pop culture + sports + music.
- Must be willing to work nights and occasional weekends/holidays for coverage
