New England's largest newsgathering organization is filling a position for a Weekend Writer in Boston.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Covering a range of stories for the site’s news, sports, weather, and/or lifestyle sections
  • Reporting and/or aggregating credible sources, separating fact from fiction
  • Writing copy with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field
  • 2 years spent reporting and/or writing on a digital media platform
  • Able to accept assignments from our Weekend Editor on Friday nights or Saturday mornings
  • Able to turn around stories for publication on Saturday or Sunday
