A staffing and recruiting firm has an open position for a Remote Wholesale Insurance Brokerage Sales Director.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Increasing retail agency distribution network through existing and new relationships
- Building cooperative and dependable relationships with independent insurance agencies to create business placement opportunities
- Developing marketing initiatives and strategic plans for market penetration
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Seven (7) or more years of successful sales experience in an MGA or Carrier environment
- Bring an existing network of independent retail agencies
- Three (3) years of proven leadership experience
- Prior experience with remote, work-at-home arrangements
- Existing retail agency networks; target market is mid-sized and regional brokers
- Proven leadership experience - current team has a small number of direct reports but will grow to 6-8 salespeople
