Job Summary
A financial services company specializing in mortgage lending needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Wholesale Mortgage Underwriting Manager in Raleigh.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Managing an underwriting staff of approximately 5-10 underwriters
- Ensure underwriting service levels are achieved
- Executing personnel management including hiring, counseling, training
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor's Degree and 5 years' experience
- Current and extensive knowledge of FNMA/FHLMC, FHA, and VA program guidelines
- Experience analyzing financial statements for high net worth borrowers
- Thorough understanding of cash flow methodology for complex tax returns
- Must be highly proficient in Excel and Word
