Job Summary

An IT services company is seeking a Remote Windows 7 and 10 Senior Systems Administrator in Austin.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Planning, coordinating, and installing applications software and hardware for desktop operating systems
• Troubleshooting hardware and software issues and interfacing with vendor and other technical support representatives
• Interpreting and implementing DoD DON IT security policy and compliance measures

Required Skills:

• Ability to do hardware upgrades and software patches on workstations and servers
• Minimum two (2) years of college work in a computer or technical discipline or two to five years of directly related experience
• Certification in Security+ required. Operating System within 60 days of hire
• Compliance with DoD 8570/8140 is required
• Minimum 4 to 5 years of computer systems, server operation and PC modernization skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
