Job Summary
A winery is seeking a Remote Winery Business Development Manager.
Must be able to:
- Effectively represent to distributors, on and off sale
- Effectively manage buying relationships with key accounts
- Conduct sales meetings and training sessions for wholesaler’s sales/management staff
Position Requirements Include:
- Travel approximately 25%
- Proven track record of strong sales skills in previous/current work experience
- Knowledge of key on and off premise trade account buyers buying and promotional practices
- Knowledge of wine industry and estimated sales trends for wine and spirit categories
- Understanding of consultative sales process
- Working knowledge of wines/spirits from world’s major viticulture regions
