Job Summary

A winery is seeking a Remote Winery Business Development Manager.

Must be able to:

  • Effectively represent to distributors, on and off sale
  • Effectively manage buying relationships with key accounts
  • Conduct sales meetings and training sessions for wholesaler’s sales/management staff

Position Requirements Include:

  • Travel approximately 25%
  • Proven track record of strong sales skills in previous/current work experience
  • Knowledge of key on and off premise trade account buyers buying and promotional practices
  • Knowledge of wine industry and estimated sales trends for wine and spirit categories
  • Understanding of consultative sales process
  • Working knowledge of wines/spirits from world’s major viticulture regions
