Job Summary
A technology consulting firm is filling a position for a Remote Wireless Network Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Evaluate site network infrastructure, and operations
- Assess customer current and future plans to optimize their wireless architecture
- Troubleshoot switching issues such as VLANs, VTP, and spanning tree issues
Skills and Requirements Include:
- BS Degree in engineering (IT, Telecom, Computer Science)
- Strong interpersonal communication skills (written, spoken and presentation)
- Extensive knowledge on the 802.11 technology and Cisco Systems products
- Experience performing LAN hardware infrastructure changes (Layer 1 - 3)
- In-depth understanding of troubleshooting Cisco router and switch configurations
