Job Summary

An information technology and marketing services company is filling a position for a Remote Wordpress Developer.

Must be able to:

  • Create responsive WordPress themes
  • Develop high-functioning and scalable web sites and features for our internal projects and our clients
  • Convert design assets into component-based HTML, CSS and JavaScript

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Solid understanding of WordPress and PHP Development best practices
  • Expertise in UI development with a focus on cross browser compatibility and responsiveness
  • Experience using CSS preprocessors like SASS/LESS or Stylus Experience with Functional Programming Paradigm and Modern JavaScript Frameworks
  • Experience utilizing the WordPress REST API
  • Experience with integrating third-party APIs with WordPress
  • Experience with version control and bug tracking tools such as Git, SVN, JIRA
