Job Summary

A government and commercial contract service provider is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote ZOS Systems Programmer III.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Utilizing SMP/E for vendor product and system OS maintenance
  • Interacting with technology teams such as Computer Operations and Data Base Administrators
  • Utilizing knowledge of TCP/IP and SNA/VTAM architecture for networking support

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of eight years' experience
  • 5+ years' experience as a z/OS systems programmer on z/OS 2.2 and later
  • Knowledge of SMP/E, Operator Commands, ISPF, SDSF, and experience using IBM utilities
  • Knowledge of a progressive mainframe operating system maintaining complex mainframe systems
