Job Summary
Leading commercial strategy and business development, the full-time salaried Renewable Energy Business Development Director will drive sales and proposal execution for engineering and scientific advisory services in solar, wind, storage, and hybrid projects while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute aggressive North American business development and sales strategies for renewables technical advisory services
- Build and sustain senior-level relationships with developers, operators, utilities, and investors to drive repeat business and cross-selling opportunities
- Manage and mentor a high-performing business development team while coordinating with global sales counterparts
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or science; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in renewable energy sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Deep knowledge of the renewable energy sector, including North America and Latin America
- Proven success in driving sales and revenue growth in renewables engineering and scientific advisory services
- Strong leadership and people management skills with experience in building high-performing teams
