Job Summary

A company is looking for an Energy Storage Tax Departmental Leader, a remote position focused on managing tax functions in the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive tax planning across the project lifecycle, advising on tax impacts of major business moves
• Maximize federal and state incentives and partner with finance teams to structure tax-efficient deals
• Oversee tax return filings, manage GAAP tax provisions, and ensure compliance with tax processes

Required Qualifications

• CPA required, with a bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's in Taxation or JD/LLM is a plus
• 10+ years of tax experience, particularly in the renewable energy sector
• Strong command of federal and state tax rules, with bonus points for international tax planning experience
• Proven leadership skills in managing high-performing teams and complex tax projects
• Big 4 public accounting experience preferred, especially in Renewables or Power & Utilities
