Renewables Civil Designer

Job Summary

Supporting the land development of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects, the full-time Renewables Civil Designer will collaborate with civil, structural, and electrical design teams to deliver innovative design solutions while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Complete detailed civil design solutions in collaboration with project engineers
• Apply industry design standards and coach team members on development projects
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for road layout, mass site grading, and stormwater management plans

Required qualifications

• Associate or technical degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent
• 6-8 years of progressive experience in civil engineering technician roles, with 3-4+ years in large land development project design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and large-scale site grading design
• Experience with Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
• Authorization to work permanently in the US
