Renewal Underwriter

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Renewal Underwriter will manage communication with Pen and Brokerage Carriers, review underwriting information, and prepare quotes while ensuring high customer service standards are met.

Key responsibilities:

• Communicate effectively with Pen and Brokerage Carriers to secure optimal coverage and pricing
• Understand Pen Underwriting Guidelines to accurately quote business within authority
• Handle incoming inquiries from retail agents and carriers, ensuring satisfactory resolutions

Required qualifications:

• Proficiency in Carrier Rating Portals, Microsoft Word, and Excel
• High School diploma required; college courses preferred
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in insurance, customer service, or banking
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
