Renewals Manager

Job Summary

Owning the full lease renewal lifecycle, the full-time Renewals Manager will manage rent increase execution, renewal compliance, and resident retention strategies while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the annual rent increase process and manage the renewal and rate-increase calendar across the portfolio
• Ensure compliance with state-specific landlord-tenant laws and manage the full renewal notice process
• Collaborate with Community Managers and Regional Vice Presidents to evaluate renewal and non-renewal decisions and improve retention strategies

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in multifamily, manufactured housing, or residential property management with a focus on renewals and lease administration
• Strong knowledge of multi-state landlord-tenant law and manufactured housing lease structures
• Proficiency with property management systems, preferably ManageAmerica
• Excellent organizational skills to manage high-volume workflows across multiple communities
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate renewal performance data and identify actionable trends
