Rent Underwriter

Job Summary

Managing rental rate analysis and marketing recommendations, the full-time Rent Underwriter will provide exceptional support to internal teams by setting competitive rental rates and reviewing marketing advertisements for properties across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze marketing advertisements and lead/showing metrics to recommend leasing strategies for vacant units
• Create tasks in an internal system for marketing and property service teams to implement necessary changes
• Review market data to set projected rental rates for homes during turnover, lease expiration, and onboarding

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience preferred in real estate, customer service, or account management
• Prior experience in property management is a plus
• Strong customer service skills and ability to complete a large number of tasks quickly
• Enthusiastic about embracing innovation and providing feedback
