Requirements Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Requirements Engineer to support a large-scale government initiative focused on modernizing legacy systems to AWS Cloud Native architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct structured discovery sessions and document current and target-state capabilities for AWS Cloud migration
• Develop modernization EPICs, features, and user stories, ensuring traceability to high-level objectives
• Collaborate with other Requirements Engineers to coordinate interdependent user stories and manage shared components

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in requirements engineering or technical business analysis
• Experience developing migration plans from legacy systems to AWS Cloud Native environments
• Proficient in documenting features/EPICs and creating detailed user stories
• Experience managing Agile backlogs in Jira or similar tools
• Strong technical literacy in cloud-native architectures, preferably AWS
