Research Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Research Accountant who is responsible for analyzing financial information and performing various accounting duties related to sponsored project financial data.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform fund set-ups and modifications, and act as a liaison for financial inquiries
• Analyze and reconcile grant funds and accounts, ensuring compliance with sponsor regulations
• Prepare account analyses and journal entries, assisting internal and external auditors as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance, or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in accounting
