Job Summary

A company is looking for a Research Administrator 2 (Remote Opportunity).

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage financial and administrative activities related to sponsored research accounts, including proposal preparation and budget development
  • Oversee expenditures, ensure compliance with internal policies and sponsor guidelines, and prepare financial reports
  • Collaborate with faculty and the Office of Sponsored Research to support contract and grant administration throughout the research lifecycle
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • Bachelor's degree and three years of job-related experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience
  • Basic knowledge of governmental regulations and university policies
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and advanced Excel skills
  • Strong accounting skills and knowledge of accounting principles
  • Ability to complete Cardinal Curriculum I and II within the first year in the role
