Job Summary

A company is looking for a Research Administrator 2 to manage pre- and post-award activities for sponsored research projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and oversee administrative components of research proposals and ensure compliance with submission processes
  • Develop project budgets, manage expenditures, and serve as a liaison between principal investigators and sponsoring agencies
  • Participate in award closeout processes and provide reports on project status and compliance
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience
  • Basic knowledge of governmental regulations related to research administration
  • Ability to complete Cardinal Research Administration Foundational Training I and II within the first year in the role
  • Strong accounting skills and knowledge of accounting principles
  • Competency in project management
