Job Summary
Collaborating with principal investigators and program staff, the full-time Research Administrator III/IV will manage grant and contract proposals, ensure compliance with regulations, and oversee financial reporting for sponsored research, with potential for hybrid or remote work.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and submit grant and contract applications, advising faculty on funding requirements
- Manage post-award activities, ensuring compliance with sponsor reporting requirements and budget monitoring
- Serve as a liaison with administrative departments and participating organizations regarding fiscal and regulatory aspects of research projects
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience (3-4 years depending on level)
- Experience managing federal and/or non-federal sponsored research
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Excel functions
- Knowledge of regulatory guidelines such as IRB and IACUC
- Prior experience with grant writing/applications
