Research Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Research Analyst to join their Research + Intelligence division.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducts legal, business, and other research and reference work, utilizing various information resources
• Distills research results into clear and concise reports and assists in training others on research tools
• Evaluates information sources for reliability and relevance, and tracks research requests using software

Required Qualifications:

• MLS and/or relevant professional research experience in a law firm or academic law library
• 3-5 years of experience in providing research in legal or academic settings
• Experience with legal and business information resources and online database searching
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with legal research databases like Lexis and Westlaw
• Ability to manage competing deadlines and work both collaboratively and independently
