Research Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Research Analyst (Home-Based).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct literature reviews and summarize existing research relevant to evaluation themes
• Carry out financial and program portfolio analysis and prepare analytical reports
• Utilize quantitative and qualitative research methodologies to conduct background research and prepare analytical reports

Required Qualifications

• Advanced university degree (Master's) in Social Sciences, Economics, Public Administration, Political Science, International Relations, or related fields; or a Bachelor's degree with 2 additional years of relevant experience
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in research or evaluation in the international development context
• Experience with computer and office software packages, including Microsoft Office and web-based data management systems
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of another UN language is an asset
• Prior experience with UNDP or other UN agencies is desirable
