Research Analyst
Job Summary
To support the firm's Research & Knowledge Management department, the full-time Research Analyst will conduct legal and business research, analyze findings, and provide summaries to attorneys and business professionals in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Independently conducts and synthesizes legal and business research, providing clear summaries to requestors
- Utilizes AI-enabled research tools to enhance efficiency and verifies AI-generated outputs against authoritative sources
- Clarifies research requests from attorneys, identifies appropriate research approaches, and communicates findings effectively
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and MLS and/or JD
- 4+ years of law firm research services experience; practical legal experience is a plus
- Proficiency with major legal, business, and financial research platforms
- Demonstrated ability to effectively use AI-enabled tools in research
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize information into concise summaries
