Research Analyst
Job Summary
To support the firm's attorneys and business professionals, the full-time hybrid Research Analyst will conduct legal and business research, analyze findings, and provide concise summaries while utilizing advanced research tools and AI technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Independently conducts and synthesizes legal and business research, providing clear summaries to requestors
- Utilizes AI-enabled research tools to enhance efficiency and verifies AI-generated outputs against authoritative sources
- Advises on research resource selection and provides training and guidance to attorneys and business professionals
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Library and Information Science from an ALA-accredited institution
- 4+ years of law firm research services experience; practical legal experience is a plus
- Proficiency with major legal, business, and financial research platforms, including Westlaw and Lexis+
- Demonstrated ability to effectively use AI tools in legal or business research
- Familiarity with time-entry, billing, and ticket-management systems
