Research Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting the firm's attorneys and business professionals, the full-time hybrid Research Analyst will conduct legal and business research, analyze findings, and provide clear summaries while utilizing advanced research tools and AI technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Independently conduct and analyze legal and business research, providing concise summaries to requestors
- Utilize AI-enabled research tools to enhance efficiency and verify outputs against authoritative sources
- Clarify research requests, advise on resource selection, and provide training on research resources
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Library and Information Science from an ALA-accredited institution
- 4+ years of law firm research services experience; practical legal experience is a plus
- Proficiency with major legal, business, and financial research platforms such as Westlaw and Lexis+
- Demonstrated ability to effectively use AI-enabled tools in legal or business research
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize information into clear summaries
