Job Summary
Research Analyst Internship, a part-time, unpaid position offering students the opportunity to conduct research on Central African leaders to assist with policy planning and relationship mapping, while gaining hands-on experience in federal service.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on Central African leaders and their advisors to support negotiations and policy planning
- Develop relationship maps and intelligence profiles to track leadership transitions and identify decision-makers
- Brief the Office Director and staff, and design visual products to aid in building trust and rapport
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National enrolled at least half-time in an accredited educational institution
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Proven research skills, including the use of AI tools
- University-level coursework in international relations or U.S. government is preferred
- Commitment to volunteer 8-20 hours per week for a minimum of 90 days
