Research and Development Scientist

Job Summary

Designing and performing experiments in support of R&D projects, the full-time Research and Development Scientist III will work remotely to validate tests, develop SOPs, and collaborate with clinical and product development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and conduct experiments for NGS, Molecular, Cytogenetics, or Biochemical Genetics platforms
• Collaborate with clinical teams to validate and integrate tests into diagnostic workflows
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assist in laboratory training and education

Required qualifications

• Ph.D. in Biological Sciences with 5+ years of industry experience or equivalent
• Extensive expertise in NGS and molecular biology techniques
