Research and Innovation Scientist
Job Summary
To support the development of innovative pet products, the full-time remote Research and Innovation Scientist II will manage product formulation, ingredient reviews, and testing while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Key responsibilities
- Support the formulation of new products and optimize current offerings by reviewing ingredient scientific data
- Design and execute studies with partner organizations to gather efficacy data for new products
- Collaborate with compliance and marketing teams to ensure regulatory adherence and successful product launches
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's of Science in a technical area, including animal science and nutrition
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience in product formulation or R&D
- Experience with product formulation and new product development
- Working knowledge of ingredients and their quality variance
- Project management skills with hands-on experience in cross-functional team environments
