Research Assistant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Research Assistant in the Department of Psychology.

Key Responsibilities

• Traveling to community locations to recruit eligible participants for a community-based project
• Conducting informed consent and administering surveys with participants, either in-person or via phone
• Maintaining documentation and adhering to study protocols and human subjects protection standards

Required Qualifications

• Some research and community work experience, particularly with underserved populations
• Strong passion for improving the quality of life for youth and families in the Richmond community
• Flexibility to work evening and weekend hours as needed
• Comfortable using basic computer and mobile technology, with familiarity in G-Suite
• Ability to adapt to changing work plans and environments
