Research Assistant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Research Assistant to support a project monitoring e-cigarette use among youth and young adults in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and modification of research protocols and documentation for the Institutional Review Board (IRB)
• Assist with organizing study-specific tasks and monitoring operational timelines
• Conduct literature reviews, analyze survey data, and prepare comprehensive reports on project findings

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health, statistics, epidemiology, biostatistics, public policy, psychology, or a related field
• One year of related work experience, including internships or part-time positions in public health or social sciences
• Knowledge of research protocols for the Institutional Review Board (IRB) is preferred
• Experience with statistical software such as SAS, Stata, or R is preferred
• Prior experience or interest in tobacco control and research is strongly preferred
