Research Assistant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Research Assistant to support a project monitoring e-cigarette use among youth and young adults in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with categorizing tobacco and nicotine products by flavor and subtype for analysis
• Create and maintain technical documentation for coding and analysis procedures
• Conduct literature reviews and investigative research to support project activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health, statistics, epidemiology, biostatistics, public policy, economics, or a related field
• At least one year of related work experience, including internships or part-time positions in public health or social sciences
• Prior experience or interest in tobacco control research or retail sales data preferred
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work under time constraints
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet management
