Research Assistant

Job Summary

To support research and development projects for the US Army Research Laboratory, the part-time Research Assistant will provide virtual assistance in areas such as Artificial Reasoning and Human Information Interaction, utilizing programming skills in languages like Python and Java.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist in research projects focused on deep learning models, object detection, and artificial intelligence applications
• Collaborate with a diverse team of scientists, engineers, and technicians to advance project goals
• Contribute to initiatives involving causal reasoning and uncertainty of information

Required qualifications:

• Enrolled in a Computer Science program at an accredited university
• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence and its applications
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Matlab, C++, PHP, HTML, Swift, and SQL
• Strong oral and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment
