Research Assistant

Job Summary

To support scientific investigative research in biopsychosocial areas related to patient care, the per diem Senior Research Assistant will conduct experiments, analyze data, and assist in writing presentations and papers for publication in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Conducts experiments or participant interviews according to established protocols and research methodology
• Gathers, tabulates, graphs, and analyzes data using statistical methodology and software applications
• Participates in the design of experimental protocols to achieve scientific objectives and interprets results through collaboration with supervisors and researchers

Required qualifications:

• BS/BA in a related field; a Master's degree is desirable
• Minimum of 2 years of professional research experience
• Data entry skills and proficiency with PC applications are required
• Experience in literature review related to scientific research
• Ability to work in an office environment with exposure to patient-care settings
