Research Assistant

Job Summary

To support a research study on young men's sexual and reproductive health, the part-time Research Assistant will oversee data collection, organization, and management while conducting semi-structured interviews with participants remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative interviews with study participants and assist in data collection and entry
• Run reports and perform data cleaning to ensure accuracy and preparation of research tables
• Support faculty with literature searches and assist in writing summaries for policy briefs and publications

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Experience conducting semi-structured qualitative interviews, preferably with young or marginalized populations
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage participants from diverse backgrounds
• Commitment to ethical research practices and trauma-informed interviewing
• Reliable internet access for remote work
