Research Assistant Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Engineer Research Assistant to support research activities in a laboratory setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine scientific and medical research work in relevant scientific fields
• Assemble and operate various laboratory equipment and record research data
• Assist in data collection for project reports and discuss results with the supervisor

Required Qualifications and Education

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or two years of college coursework
• High School Diploma or GED with four years of laboratory experience, including two years at the Laboratory Technical Assistant level
• No prior experience required with a Bachelor's Degree
• Two years of laboratory experience at the Laboratory Technical Assistant level or equivalent with two years of college
• Ability to maintain security or integrity of critical infrastructure as per Texas Education Code 51.215
