Research Assistant I

Job Summary

To support ongoing research initiatives, the part-time temporary Research Assistant I will perform data collection and organization, data entry, and maintenance of study data while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conducts research projects by collecting and organizing data according to standard operating procedures
• Ensures accurate and timely data entry and maintenance of study data
• Assists the Principal Investigator with experimental design and data analysis as needed

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Molecular and Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field
• 0-2 years of experience, with at least 1 year in technical services preferred
• Proficiency in R and/or Python is required
• Background in computational biology, molecular biology, or biochemistry is necessary
• Familiarity with standard laboratory techniques and basic computational/bioinformatics knowledge
