Research Assistant I

Job Summary

Supporting the planning and implementation of multiple suicide prevention research studies, the part-time hourly Research Assistant I will conduct research, perform data entry and coding, and assist with administrative tasks while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conducts research in collaboration with investigators, maintaining compliance with standard operating procedures
• Serves as a coder for military suicide death reviews and prepares written summaries and timelines
• Performs scientific literature searches and assists in manuscript preparation, including editing and formatting documents

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in social sciences or related fields
• 0-2 years of experience in a research environment, with a focus on suicide prevention research preferred
• Prior military service or experience in military settings highly preferred
• General understanding of clinical research principles and procedures
• Ability to obtain and maintain a T1/Public Trust background check
