Research Assistant in Economics

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pre-Doc in Development Economics.

Key Responsibilities

• Scrape, manage, and analyze large datasets related to poverty and growth in India
• Conduct literature reviews and participate in the research process pipeline
• Assist in the development of open data platforms and contribute to ongoing research projects

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in sciences, computer science, economics, statistics, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus
• Strong quantitative skills and experience with data analysis using Stata, Python, or R
• Familiarity with GIS software and Linux systems is desirable
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work as part of a team
• Flexible and self-motivated with excellent organizational skills
