Research Assistant Professor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Research Assistant Professor to support agricultural decision-making through advanced remote sensing and geospatial technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop advanced Agro-geoinformatic algorithms for monitoring and predicting crop and pasture conditions
• Refine algorithms and workflows for crop and pasture monitoring, modeling, and decision support
• Supervise graduate research assistants and student interns, and publish research findings

Required Qualifications

• Terminal degree in a related field
• One-year post-Ph.D. research experience in a related field at the time of appointment
• Research experience in agricultural remote sensing or crop and pasture modeling
• Knowledge of remote sensing, geospatial information systems, and Agro-AI/ML
• Relevant programming skills
