Research Assistant, Psychiatry

Job Summary

To support the STEPPS/RESTORE studies, the part-time Research Assistant, Psychiatry will conduct clinical interviews, administer surveys, and assist with participant scheduling and data collection in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Recruits and enrolls study participants, explaining research procedures and obtaining informed consent
• Schedules appointments, conducts reminder communications, and administers questionnaires to participants
• Performs data management procedures, including data entry, quality checks, and report preparation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; degree in Psychology preferred
• 1-2 years of research or relevant clinical experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with statistical software (SPSS) is a plus
• Ability to read and write fluently in English; Spanish speaking ability preferred
• Must complete training in human subjects research certification
