Research Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Research Associate to conduct analytical work and contribute to higher education policy discussions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct quantitative analyses on trends in college access, completion, affordability, and accountability
• Transform analyses into publishable products using data visualization techniques
• Assist in managing projects and communicate updates with policy and program teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in higher education, public policy, statistics, or related field
• Experience with postsecondary datasets and statistical software, such as Microsoft Excel and Stata
• Familiarity with higher education policy areas, including college access and completion
• Ability to manipulate and clean datasets for research projects
• Familiarity with data visualization software, such as Tableau, is preferred
