Research Associate

Job Summary

As the first Research Associate, this full-time position offers the opportunity to build the operational infrastructure for prospective clinical research, managing everything from protocol design to data collection, and is open to candidates based in New York City or working remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute IRB protocols, managing patient enrollment and consent processes for high-priority clinical research studies
• Build cross-functional research infrastructure by partnering with Clinical Operations, Product, and Data teams to create systems for patient identification and data collection
• Draft white papers and conference abstracts, contribute to peer-reviewed publications, and manage submission logistics

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a health-related field; PhD is also welcome
• Proven experience in operational execution of prospective clinical research, including protocol development and IRB navigation
• Track record of research writing, including authorship of conference abstracts
• Ability to work across functions in a digital health or health tech environment
• Operational data fluency with experience in managing and quality-checking research datasets
