Research Associate

Job Summary

Managing participant engagement for a NIDA-funded SBIR grant, the full-time Research Associate will coordinate recruitment, consent, and follow-up for telehealth buprenorphine treatment across multiple high-risk settings while handling data management in REDCap.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage participant recruitment, eligibility screening, and informed consent across five sites
• Oversee data management in REDCap, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies
• Provide administrative support, including documentation of site operations and drafting progress reports under the Study Director's guidance

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, public health, community health, psychology, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience working with marginalized populations in a clinical, community health, or research context
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage participants during challenging circumstances
• Commitment to harm reduction and improving the health of individuals with substance use disorders
• Experience with data entry and management, preferably in REDCap or similar platforms
