Research Associate I

Job Summary

Supporting business development and quantitative analyses, the part-time Research Associate I will assist with data manipulation, analysis, and proposal development while working approximately 10-24 hours per week in the Chicago Loop office, with potential for exceptional remote candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with cost modeling, scenario analysis, and data-driven evaluations to support decision-making
• Create and maintain a visual dashboard for key performance metrics and coordinate cross-functional projects
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses, translating complex findings into actionable insights

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, Statistics, Social Sciences, or a related field
• Experience with data analysis tools, with proficiency in Excel required; familiarity with R, SQL, or Python is a plus
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail
• Able to come to the Chicago Loop office for occasional meetings
