Research Associate I
Job Summary
Supporting biostatistics and data science initiatives, the part-time Research Associate I will manage and analyze research datasets, perform statistical programming in R, and contribute to high-impact cancer research projects, with the flexibility to work remotely, in person, or in a hybrid setting.
Key responsibilities
- Clean, validate, and manage research datasets from clinical trials and observational studies
- Perform statistical programming and data visualization using the R programming language
- Assist with statistical analyses and the preparation of research manuscripts and presentations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Epidemiology, Public Health, or a related quantitative field
- 0-2 years of research or laboratory experience
- Proficiency in R for data cleaning and statistical analysis
- Experience using Git/GitHub for version control
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix command-line environments
