Research Associate II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Research Associate II to support computational needs for the development and validation of NGS-based assays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support computational needs for the development and validation of NGS-based assays
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to implement genomic analytical solutions
• Develop, execute, and maintain NGS analysis pipelines in cloud-based environments

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in a relevant computer science discipline with a minimum of 3 years of industry experience
• Minimum of 1 year experience with NGS and hands-on dry-lab experience
• Expertise in bioinformatics and knowledge of genomic analysis solutions
• Scripting experience in coding languages such as bash, awk, Python, or R
• Understanding of NGS platforms, particularly Illumina platforms
