Research Associate in Literacy Evaluation

Job Summary

To advance educational opportunities and outcomes for learners, the full-time Research Associate in Literacy Evaluation will contribute to high-impact research and evaluation projects, collaborating with various stakeholders while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to research design, data collection, and analysis for literacy and language evaluations
• Lead project planning and coordination, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables
• Write and present findings tailored to research and practitioner audiences through various formats

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in education, public policy, economics, or a closely related field
• Knowledge of educational issues in the K-12 literacy context
• Proficiency with research software such as Stata, R, SPSS, NVIVO, or Dedoose
• Understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methods, including inferential statistics
• Experience in school-based work, such as teaching or curriculum coordination, is preferred
