Job Summary
To support innovative research in neurologic surgery, the full-time Research Associate in Neurologic Surgery will manage mechanical research equipment, develop experimental protocols, and provide engineering expertise while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Set up mechanical research equipment and develop experimental protocols in the field of biomechanics and orthopedics
- Implement and analyze algorithms related to research and clinical applications, utilizing tools such as Matlab and C++
- Provide leadership support and training within an established research program, contributing to scientific publications
Required qualifications
- Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in a relevant field
- At least three years of postdoctoral research experience with evidence of scientific publications
- Demonstrated ability to perform specialized functions in a research setting
- Experience with x-ray computed tomography (CT) and radiation dosimetry preferred
- Proficiency in Matlab and/or C++ programming
