Job Summary
To support a growing Biostatistics team, the full-time Research Biostatistician will perform statistical analyses for observational studies and clinical trials, focusing on causal inference methods and target trial emulation using real-world data, with the option for hybrid or fully remote work, preferably for candidates located in North Carolina.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, conduct, and document statistical analyses, emphasizing causal inference methods
- Implement target trial emulation analyses using real-world data sources
- Develop and contribute to statistical analysis plans and write statistical sections of study reports and proposals
Required qualifications
- PhD in a related field of study or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience
- Demonstrated programming skills in R, including experience with reproducible analysis pipelines
- Experience with causal inference methods and real-world data analysis
- Background in biostatistics or related quantitative disciplines
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory environments
