Research Collaborations Associate

Job Summary

Identifying and engaging researchers and institutions for potential collaborations, the full-time Research Collaborations Associate will lead discussions on project scope, translate collaboration needs into data specifications, and manage partnership documentation in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage researchers and institutions for potential data access and research collaborations
• Lead initial conversations to explain project scope and assess partnership fit
• Draft partnership materials for internal and legal review, and manage outreach and partnership status

Required qualifications

• Preferred: PhD in a scientific or clinical discipline; Master's degree with relevant experience also considered
• Experience or familiarity with clinical/research data (clinical trials, biobanks, pathology, or similar) is a strong plus
• Comfort drafting business documents, with prior experience in data use agreements, MTAs, or research collaboration agreements being a bonus
• Exceptional spoken and written English communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple relationships and deadlines
